Abstract
The work aimed to evaluate whether child daycare centers are an environment that protects against or exposes children to intestinal parasite infestation. Stool samples were analyzed from children attending such centers and a control group. It was concluded that attending daycare centers is related to intestinal parasitosis (630% vs. 41.4 %; p <0.01) and the risk of infestation is 1.5 times higher.Entities:
