Abstract
Advances in imaging studies and techniques of spinal stabilization permit improved surgical treatment of patients with metastatic disease of the spine. Preoperative evaluation, selection of patients for operative management, and results of published clinical series are reviewed. Surgical approaches for optimal tumor excision, neural decompression, and spinal stabilization are discussed.Entities:
