Abstract
Stent area assessed by intravascular ultrasound is a strong predictor of late outcome after percutaneous coronary intervention. Because sirolimus-eluting stents (SESs) prevent intimal regrowth within the stent, achieving a larger final stent area might no longer be noteworthy; therefore, the investigators sought to determine the relevance and impact of the final stent area with SESs.Entities:
