Abstract
Adenocarcinoma of the small intestine accounts for less than 1% of primary gastrointestinal malignancies (1). Small intestine contains 75% of the length of the gastrointestinal tract with 90% of the surface mucosal area, and yet carcinoma is rare. Symptoms of small bowel adenocarcinoma are vague and non-specific, and this region is relatively inaccessible which together contributes to their late diagnosis and poor prognosis. The authors report a case of two primary adenocarcinomas of the small intestine in the same patient.Entities:
