Abstract
"Juvenile" nasopharyngeal angiofibroma is a locally aggressive, yet histologically benign, vascular neoplasm. This neoplasm accounts for less than 0.5% of neoplasms of the head and neck and occurs almost exclusively in adolescent males. We report a rare case of a 64-year-old woman with a red lobulated mass in the right nostril, diagnosed as nasopharyngeal angiofibroma on postoperative histopathologic and immunohistochemical analysis.Entities:
