Abstract
The first repair of tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) was 50 years ago, so it would seem that the details for optimal management strategies would be clear. Timing of repair and operative repair strategy for TOF are still a source of debate. Varying institutions have published excellent outcomes with a primary repair strategy or a selective staged repair strategy. In this article, the current and historic strategy for repair of TOF at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto is delineated along with associated outcomes. Data from our institution indicate a clear survival advantage for primary repair of TOF.Entities:
