Abstract
In this retrospective case series, we describe the clinical features and microbiology of 16 previously healthy children with suppurative intracranial complications of sinusitis. Most cases were male adolescents who presented with vomiting in addition to typical sinusitis symptoms. Neurologic signs were often absent. Streptococcus milleri group organisms, along with anaerobes, were common pathogens.Entities:
