Abstract
Pyonephrosis is uncommon in adults as well as children and rarely reported in neonates. Candidial pyonephrosis in a neonate has been first reported in 1988 which was associated with iatrogenic perirenal collection [Cohen, HL, Haller, JO. J ultrasound Med 1988; 7(11): 647]. This is the second reported case of neonatal pyonephrosis and the first due to Staphylococcus aureus.Entities:
