Abstract
Acute renal failure is a common occurrence in the neonatal intensive care unit. This article summarizes pathophysiology, causes, differential diagnosis, methods of prevention, management, and outcome of acute renal failure in the neonate. Comparative roles of continuous arteriovenous hemofiltration and peritoneal dialysis are discussed.Entities:
