Abstract
Drugs can induce thrombocytopenia by several mechanisms, including marrow suppression and destruction of platelets in the peripheral blood by non-immune and immune mechanisms. We will review here current understanding of the immune mechanisms by which drugs promote immune-mediated platelet destruction resulting in thrombocytopenia.Entities:
