Abstract
Despite achieving great accuracy in correctly diagnosing uveal melanoma in the United States, mortality owing to this tumor has remained unchanged over a period of 25 years from 1973 to 1997. In general, the survival with metastatic uveal melanoma is poor, with a median survival of less than 6 months.Entities:
