Abstract
Docetaxel is a highly effective chemotherapeutic agent for metastatic or locally advanced breast cancer as well as other malignancies. One of the side effects of weekly administration of docetaxel is epiphora (excessive tearing) caused by canalicular stenosis and nasolacrimal duct obstruction. This article summarizes experience with epiphora and canalicular stenosis as a side effect of docetaxel and provides specific recommendations for management of this side effect.Entities:
