Abstract
In 1989, the Public Psychiatry Training Program of the Oregon Health Sciences University Department of Psychiatry and Dammasch State Hospital opened a collaborative Professional Education Unit with the author as Director. This article describes the Unit's structure and programs, as an example of successful state/university collaboration and a possible model for other training programs in public psychiatry.Entities:
