Abstract
Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activity was abnormal in 30% of 70 female infertility patients with polycystic ovary syndrome in whom causes other than nonalcoholic fatty liver disease were excluded by history and serum testing. Women with elevated ALT had significantly higher body mass index, waist circumference, serum triglycerides, total cholesterol-to-HDL-cholesterol ratio, and degree of insulin resistance.Entities:
