Abstract
INTRODUCTION: The purpose of this study was to determine national and state-specific estimates of dental care use among adult pregnant women in the United States using data from two 12-month periods. In this table, all characteristics presented in Table 2 were further evaluated in a multivariable logistic regression model to determine which characteristics retained significant associations with whether or not a pregnant woman received dental care in the last 12 months. Only annual income and smoking were significant at P ≤ .05. CI = confidence interval; ref = reference group.
