Abstract
We are reporting a case of arterial hypertension in a young woman who had an atrophic kidney with a cortical groove and histological features of the Ask-Upmark kidney. Her hypertension was renin dependent and the patient was cured following nephrectomy. Controversy on the pathogenesis of this clinical entity is briefly reviewed.Entities:
