Abstract
Tuberculosis cases in a semi-rural county of western Maryland have been reviewed in an attempt to identify high-risk groups at which tuberculosis control efforts could be targeted. Although the cases were concentrated to some extent among nonwhites, older persons, and unmarried city residents, it appears that a general approach will be needed, emphasizing greater collaboration of health departments with the medical profession and a general health education approach to the public.Entities:
