Abstract
This review focuses on caffeine's effects on the central modulation of muscle activation in humans. The drug's effects on voluntary muscle activation, the Hoffman reflex, motor-evoked potentials, self-sustained firing, pain, and sensation are discussed, and the possibility that caffeine maybe useful in the study of central fatigue is explored.Entities:
