Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To provide basis of environmental factors of genuine crude drug, Salvia miltiorrhiza root.
METHOD: On-the-spot investigation and indoor chemical analysis were made to study the physicochemical properties of growing soil and content of inorganic elements of S. miltiorrhiza, and obtained data were analysed with SPSS 10.0 software. RESULT: S. miltiorrhiza root of high harvest area accumulated Cu and Zn. In soil principal component analysis, no principal component was obvious. So the drug has good adaptability in ecological environment of soil.
CONCLUSION: Ecological environment of soil isn't leading factor in forming genuine crude S. miltiorrhiza.
