Abstract
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is on the increase, yet public awareness of the condition remains low. Early diagnosis and smoking cessation can arrest the decline in lung status. A primary care-based spirometry screening assessment initiative has improved diagnosis, resulting in early intervention for patients with COPD.Entities:
