Abstract
This contribution discusses the dominant T wave, a concept providing an overall view on the repolarization currents of the ventricular myocardium. The dominant T wave is a weighted mean of the T waves on the body surface. It can be estimated from the matrix of sampled observed potentials. The timing of its peak reveals the mean of the repolarization times of the involved transmembrane potentials. Its amplitude is independent of the volume conductor properties of the tissues surrounding the heart.Entities:
