Abstract
Optic nerve disorders range from the manifestations of life-threatening intracranial or systemic disease, to minor congenital anomalies. Careful clinical assessment, which relies upon a thorough evaluation of symptoms as well as signs, is essential for effective and timely investigation and treatment.
