Abstract
In light of recent evidence, it seems that the endocrine function of the postmenopausal ovary is more elusive and more variable than previously believed. Although the current authors believe that the postmenopausal ovary has lost a clinically significant estrogenic capability, a definitive conclusion regarding androgen production cannot be forthcoming.Mesh:
