Abstract
The ring-closing metathesis (RCM) mediated cross-linking of dendrimer 1 and it subunits was examined. Through the combined use of MALDI-MS-TOF, SEC, NMR, and X-ray crystallographic analysis it was shown that the cross-links are formed with the following order of preference: type d >/= type c > type b > type a.Entities:
