Abstract
Malignant gliomas are the most common form of primary brain tumors in adults. Although the prognosis remains poor, there has been recent progress in the treatment of these tumors. Standard therapy for patients with this disease will be reviewed, together with more novel approaches such as targeted molecular therapies, angiogenesis inhibitors, immunotherapies, gene therapies and intratumoral therapies.Entities:
