Abstract
Enterobius vermicularis ('pinworm') is rarely found outside the gastro-intestinal tract. We describe a case of extra-intestinal pinworm abscess associated with an inguinal hernia in an adult. A brief review of the literature is given and possible mechanisms of tissue invasion are discussed.Entities:
