Atrial fibrillation and interatrial septal aneurysm in a patient with Marfan's syndrome.

Abstract

A 25-year-old male, with Marfan's syndrome, had asymptomatic atrial fibrillation. Echocardiography revealed an interatrial septal aneurysm. Electrical cardioversion restored sinus rhythm. Relevant aspects of interatrial septal aneurysm are reviewed.
