Abstract
Angiogenesis is believed to play a critical role in cancer; however, antiangiogenic therapy has not been demonstrated to improve the survival of patients who have lung cancer. In this article, the evidence that supports a role for angiogenesis in the pathogenesis of lung cancer, trials of antiangiogenic agents in lung cancer performed to date, and the lessons learned from these studies are discussed.Entities:
