Abstract
Aortic graft infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis is rare. We report a patient with a Dacron aortobifemoral prosthetic graft infection secondary to tuberculosis. The infection was successfully treated with surgical drainage without removal of the graft, and long-term antimycobacterial medications. A review of the literature contains only 1 other report of tuberculosis graft infection and treatment. We discuss a rare form of aortic graft infection from M tuberculosis and its treatment.Entities:
