Abstract
In a review of 53 cases of coccidioidal disease, 50 of which resulted in death, some symptoms were noted to be so common as to facilitate diagnosis. Laboratory studies of spinal fluid gave helpful information. Particularly noteworthy with regard to roentgenologic studies was the fact that in no case in which there was pulmonary cavity formation due to coccidioidomycosis did coccidioidal meningitis develop.Entities:
