Abstract
Dentists typically are first exposed to panoramic imaging during radiology class while in dental school but understanding the advantages and disadvantages of this imaging technique requires experience. This article reviews the basic concept of panoramic imaging, its history and development, and the advantages and disadvantages of this imaging technique, particularly as they relate to temporomandibular disorders.Entities:
