Abstract
We present a surgical procedure for liver metastases with hepatic hilar invasion, which was originally developed for hilar bile duct cancer. A 64-year-old man with 8 metastatic nodules from colon cancer and hepatic hilar invasion received this technique, and lived for more than 5 years without any restriction in his life. The authors recommend this procedure for those patients in order to preserve their quality of life.Entities:
