Abstract
Ossifying fibromas (OFs) are rare, benign, nonaggressive fibroosseous tumors that are commonly seen in head and neck region. They show aggressive pattern when the midface and paranasal sinuses are involved. We report a 28-year-old woman with OF of the middle turbinate. Computed tomography images of the nasal cavity showed monostotic hyperdense lesion confined to middle turbinate. En bloc excision was performed. Histological examination confirmed the diagnosis as OF. Our case is of particular interest because it is, to our knowledge, the first documented case of OF arising from the middle turbinate.Entities:
