Abstract
Photosynthesis utilizes light energy to oxidize water molecules to molecular oxygen at the oxygen-evolving centre of photosystem II. The structure of photosystem II from the cyanobacterium Thermosynechococcus elongatus has been reported at 3.5A resolution and, for the first time, the complete molecular structure of this 650 kDa complex, including the oxygen-evolving centre, has been revealed.Entities:
