Abstract
Mid-esophageal diverticulum is a medical rarity. Only patients in whom the condition is symptomatic should receive treatment. Minimally invasive surgery via a thoracoscopic approach is currently the preferred treatment for the condition. This case report describes a 63-year-old woman with a symptomatic mid-esophageal diverticulum, which was successfully treated by endoscopic diverticulotomy using a needle-knife through a flexible endoscope.Entities:
