Abstract
Positron emission tomography (PET) using F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) is a very effective imaging modality in the diagnosis, staging, and monitoring of a variety of malignant conditions. The principle of imaging is based on the enhanced utilization of glucose by cancer. In this report, we describe a patient with renal cell carcinoma who showed FDG uptake isometabolic to normal liver.Entities:
