Abstract
Recently, the humeral avulsion of the inferior glenohumeral ligament (HAGL) has been described as a cause of shoulder instability. All documented cases in the literature describe the avulsion as an anterior and lateral disruption leading to anterior instability. We detail a previously unreported case of a HAGL lesion involving the posterior band of the inferior glenohumeral ligament. Arthroscopic reattachment using an additional posteroinferior portal resulted in a successful repair.Mesh:
