Aneurysm of the left aortic sinus ruptured into the left ventricle.

M Galiñanes1, J Duarte, D F de Caleya.

Abstract

Aneurysms of the sinus of Valsalva are rare, and in this type of aneurysm, those of the left sinus are the least common. Aneurysms that ruptured into the left and right atria have also been reported; however, we report an unusual case of congenital aneurysm of the left aortic sinus that ruptured into the left ventricle.
