Abstract
Central vein catheterization is a common procedure performed in major hospitals. Numerous complications have been described with the use of this technique. We present three patients in whom the positioning of a catheter at the junction of the right and left brachiocephalic veins caused hydrothorax. Placing the catheter at the junction of the superior vena cava and the right atrium is recommended.Entities:
