Abstract
Radial optic neurotomy is a novel therapy for the treatment of ischemic central retinal vein occlusion. To date, the visual results are encouraging. Cutting in the optic nerve can cause visual field defects as shown in the presented case. This complication will reduce the value of this new surgical procedure and should be weighed against still unsettled advantages.Entities:
