Abstract

Genetic and karyotypic studies of natural Saccharomyces sensu stricto yeasts from Finland, Holland and Slovakia revealed three wild sibling-species: Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Saccharomyces bayanus and Saccharomyces paradoxus.
