Abstract
Chronic granulomatous disease is an inherited defect in host defense mechanisms mainly affecting neutrophil function. Pulmonary infection with Aspergillus nidulans in a child with chronic granulomatous disease could not be eliminated by a combination of caspofungin and liposomal amphotericin B. Voriconazole was successful in clearing the infection.Entities:
