Abstract
Abiotrophia defectiva, one of several nutritionally variant Streptococcus species, is an uncommon but important cause of endocarditis in children. We describe an unusual case complicated by extensive aortitis with pits in the ascending aorta and the proximal aortic arch.Entities:
