Abstract
The biologic effects of erythropoietin in the central and peripheral nervous system involve the activation of its specific cell surface receptor and corresponding signal transduction pathways. This article reviews the neuroprotective effects of erythropoietin in brain, emphasizing the progress made using in vitro and in vivo research models.Entities:
