Cell motility: Golgi signalling shapes up to ship out.

Harry Mellor1.

Abstract

In a motile eukaryotic cell, secretory traffic is directed towards the front of the cell. New work shows that signals from the Golgi matrix play an important part in cell motility by allowing reorientation of the Golgi towards the direction of movement. Copyright 2004 Elsevier Ltd.
