[A synopsis of medication for degenerative osteoarthritis].

Abstract

Drug treatment options should be used before starting operative procedures for degenerative osteoarthritis. The directed use of drugs helps to convert activate arthritis to the asymptomatic phase. This article summarizes guidelines and gives an overview of the effects and problems.
