Abstract
Effective treatment for laryngeal cancer concerns the preservation of voice. Progress has been made in treatment, rehabilitation,restoration of the airway, and nonsurgical treatments. With the introduction of tracheoesophageal speech and the voice prosthesis,many treated patients acquire socially acceptable speech after total laryngectomy and maintain satisfactory quality of life.Entities:
