Abstract
Granulocytic sarcomas (GS) are rare extra medullary tumors composed of myeloid progenitor cells. Bones, lymph nodes and skin are favored sites of involvement. Primary involvement of the ovary is exceedingly rare leading to under diagnosis of GS. We report on a 19-year-old woman who presented with an ovarian mass without any underlying hematologic disorder. A high index of suspicion aided by immunohistochemistry established the correct diagnosis.Entities:
