Abstract
Over the last 20 years, there has been considerable progress in the care of the diabetic foot. The increased limb survival rate in patients attending multi-disciplinary clinics has resulted from advances in the care of the neuropathic foot, the neuro-ischaemic foot and from advances in the management of infection.
