The diabetic foot, 2003.

Michael E Edmonds1.

Abstract

Over the last 20 years, there has been considerable progress in the care of the diabetic foot. The increased limb survival rate in patients attending multi-disciplinary clinics has resulted from advances in the care of the neuropathic foot, the neuro-ischaemic foot and from advances in the management of infection. However, significant concerns still remain, requiring a call to action. Copyright 2004 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
