Abstract
Vibrio alginolyticus is an unusual cause of otitis media. Infection usually occurs in the presence of a chronically perforated eardrum or patent pressure-equalizing tube. Infection with V. alginolyticus can occur after even mild, brief exposure to seawater, and the interval between exposure to seawater and onset of clinical infection can be prolonged.Entities:
